Me-Two, Dancing the Opposites on Dartmoor
17th - 19th July 2026 with Gemma Mallol & Joanna Hruby
A 3-day creative process exploring inner duality through mask making, somatic movement and performance.
In multiple political, social and cultural spheres, it feels increasingly difficult to escape polarisation. But perhaps rather than running away from it, we can embrace ‘the dynamic dance of polarities at the heart of the world’, as Carl Jung put it, by surrendering playfully to the ones which lie within each of us.

In/Visible Dimensions in Ibiza
9th - 16th October 2026
A 5-day multi-sited somatic movement intensive that explores bringing the hidden, inner world into visibility and opens pathways into movement artistry and performance through quiet coastal and rural sites in the North of Ibiza.
Can being witnessed, photographed or filmed transform the process of somatic movement? Can a shared attentiveness where body, place, movement and camera coalesce into ritual? How can we express and share what is buried deep down? Is it safe, to be seen? or do I need to inhabit the shadow? an invisible place,? What does visibility feel like? What does invisibility offer? How is it to play between these two spaces?Prices and Practicalities

Eco Somatic Processes
These workshops and intensives are eco-somatic, they bring together ecological awareness and somatic practice. They invite us to experience the body not as separate from the world, but as deeply embedded within it. It recognises the body as both a sensing organism and a site of relationship with the earth, other beings, and the environments we inhabit. This approach asks- how do we sense and move with the world, not just in it?“Bodies are not individual entities bounded by skin but are permeable and entangled with the world.” (2007, p. 140)
“An ethical relationship demands that we stay with the entanglement, that we remain accountable for the relations we help to produce.” (2007, p. 393)

Becoming-with
Butoh Based Somatics Ibiza Intensive, October 2025
Donna Haraway, in The Companion Species Manifesto (2003), asserts that identity and being are formed through “co-constitutive relationships in which none of the partners pre-exist the relating, and the relating is never done once and for all” (2003, p. 12). This ongoing process of becoming-with is central to a worldview in which everything exists through relationship. These relationships are not limited to human interactions but encompass multispecies interdependence: “entangle[ment in] a motley crowd of differentially situated species, including landscapes, animals, plants, microorganisms, people, and technologies” (2008, p. 41).

"The study of movement is not about words. It is a direct transmission of life. However when words arise out of the subterranean field of aware movement, another knowing is realised."
